
RUN COACHING
RUN TRAINING SESSIONS
CCT RUN is a run training program focused on helping people run stronger and better through all stages of life. In our structured run workouts and coaching, we intentionally design programs to meet standards that help prevent injury and emphasize individual development. Through various types of running and a well-rounded fitness regime, individuals will be challenged to train smarter and build authentic relationships with coaches and other participants. Whether you are new to running, or are an experienced runner looking to achieve more strenuous goals, our community is uplifting and encouraging and does not promote competition within the group. We see a variety of fitness levels, ages and past injuries, which makes it important for us to cater to each person’s needs and goals during our runs.
Workouts are 55-90 minutes and include dynamic warmups, a programmed run, strength and/or speed work and stretching.

CCT RUN OFFERINGS
Are you looking to improve runs in your daily life? Or are you an experienced runner striving for your goal, and want to do so with an uplifting community?
CCT RUN is not a club that promotes competition within the group, but celebrates each individual. We see a variety of fitness levels, ages, past injuries, etc. which makes it important for us to cater to each person’s needs and goals during our workout or run.
Track Interval Training
Offered on Tuesday nights. If athletes follow our training plans this should fit nicely into their programming once per week. This is a time to work hard. Offering this only once a week limits the chances of individuals over-doing it by trying to run fast all the time.
One-on-one coaching
Our certified coaches create individualized and adaptable plans sent to athletes weekly. Whether an athlete is training for a marathon or utilizing coaching for increased consistency, our coaches can provide supportive accountability and tailor a plan to an athlete’s current fitness level, goals and life demands. Key benefits are weekly communication, interaction and feedback, plus flexibility in supporting each runner’s unique needs.
Run Lead - Anne Fechtel
Anne grew up in Tulsa, OK where she had 7 siblings and spent most of her free time playing sports. She holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Virginia and has enjoyed living in Charlotte since 2011.
Anne has a wide range of experience competing in local races, as well as Abbott World Major Marathons, trail races and ultramarathons. She is a sub-3 hour marathoner and. 6-time Boston Qualifier. For the past 5+ years she as led a weekly community group run, which has been the source of many great friendships for her. She welcomes others to join her at Legion Southpark Run Club for 5 miles and good food every Wednesday Night.
As a mom of 3, Anne understands the challenges of finding consistency in training and prioritizes reaching the start line healthy. Participating in classes at CCT has been integral to her own training for injury prevention. She brings to coaching a strong eye for detail and the desire to empower others in the pursuit of their individual running goals.
